Christmas Dinner
Join us on Thursday 9th December for our first ever in person event, the Cambridge Black Alumni Christmas Dinner. This is set to be an evening of good food, good company and Christmas cheer. After a meal, there will be a chance to chat more over drinks!

Are we there yet? Has racial equity moved on from taking a knee?..
Over 16 months from the horrific police murder of George Floyd by police officers, where are we. Has the discussion, discourse, and debate gone cold? Have there been any improvements to addressing issues of racial equity for the African diaspora?
We will debate where we are going as a society during the online discussion on Thursday, October 28, 2021. Have efforts in different segments of society been merely performative, or is real change happening?
We want to hear from you and your thoughts and ways the alumni association can be a positive force in this space.
Some framing questions include:
How would you describe your workplace before renewed push and conversation about race and equity?
Has your corporation or government entity provided racial equity training?
Since the push for more significant equity across several aspects of society, have you seen any long-term cultural shifts?
Where do you think we are in terms of moving towards more significant equity across all of humanity?
·Moving from Dialogue to Action- what can we do in our networks and through our Black Alumni Network?
